Hi, students! I have been an academic tutor specializing in Math, Science, and English. I am most comfortable with Teaching Science as I am a Chemistry major in the University of the Philippines - Los Baños. I have been an academic tutor for more than 10 years and I have been in such a career on both part-time and full-time bases. I gained most of my tutorial experience working as a tutor in a prominent tutorial and review center in the country, specializing in academic tutorials (group and individual sessions) and in review programs for entrance exams such as the UPCAT, the ACET, the DCAT, the USTET, and the National Competitive Examination for the Philippine Science High School. I am more than proud to say that I have accomplished the following: - helping more than 1,000 tutees improve their grades in school from Grades 4 to even IB-level Chemistry and University-level Science and Math - helping more than 2,000 students qualify for their target school and, at least, their second choice of schools I am capable of teaching the following subjects: - Algebra I - Algebra II - Plane and Euclidean Geometry - Plane Trigonometry - General and Earth Science up to G12 - Biology until Grade 12 - Chemistry until Grade 12 - Chemistry for IB level: HL or SL - University-level General Chemistry - Organic Chemistry until undergraduate level - Physics until Grade 12 For the moment, I exclusively offer online tutorials, but you can rest assured that I provide notes of almost every session. I typically conduct tutorials by writing on a blank Powerpoint slideshow while discussing. The notes I am talking about in the previous paragraph take the form of the pdf versions of these written slide shows.
