What is Cinnamon?

Cinnamon is a Family Experience Marketplace where you can book activities, learnings, and events for your kids and loved ones.

Why the name Cinnamon?

We love foods that have cinnamon! It may not be an everyday craving, but when we do want it, we almost always know where to get it. We find this similar to Family Experiences, trying out basketball, learning a new language, or biking with your child may not be everyday things, but when you need to do them, you can go to Cinnamon to get them.

How do I book an experience?

It’s super easy! Select the experience you and your loved ones want to enjoy, read the details, and when you’re ready select the schedule that works for you, process payment, then just simply show up!

I’ve booked an experience. What’s next?

For online experiences, your Activity Provider will send you an email with the online meeting information. For face-to-face experience, you may go directly to the place where your experience is going to be held based on your schedule.

Can I get a refund if I didn't like the experience?

It is our highest priority that you have a memorable experience; please tell us about it so that we can better serve you; Contact us at [email protected].

Should my child be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the experience?

Younger kids are encouraged to have a guardian or a parent with them. Some experiences do not need a parent, but some are best experienced together.

Something came up. I need to reschedule my child’s tutoring session. How do I do this?

If you have attended at least 1 session of your experience, you may discuss this directly with the Activity Provider. The consumption of your sessions will be based on the attendance that the Activity Provider will check or mark.

I have an issue with the Activity Provider’s behavior. What can I do?

Activity Providers follow an onboarding process that focuses on family, safety, and learning. If the experience is not satisfactory, kindly contact us immediately, and we will conduct an investigation.

Who are the Activity Providers?

Activity Providers are passionate individuals who want to share their skills and learnings with the next generation and with people who just want to learn. Our unique onboarding aligns our Activity Providers with our main goal, which is to connect you and your loved ones to meaningful and valuable experiences.

As a Activity Provider, when do I get paid?

To receive payment, a completed session is a pre-requisite. In the Attendance section, make sure that you are checking the attendance of your enrollees; once completed, Cinnamon will automatically process a payout request per completed enrollee. Processing may take 2–3 business days according to bank and e-wallet policies for clearing.

How can I be sure that the experience I purchased is not a scam?

We understand that it can be challenging to navigate the vast array of experiences available and to feel confident that you're getting a legitimate and worthwhile experience. To help ensure the trustworthiness of the experiences, we recommend choosing only those provided by our Verified Users. We also indicated in our Terms of Use that a Activity Provider should complete the experience first before they can receive payment from their customers. On the other hand, your payment on the platform ensures that a Activity Provider will receive a payment once they complete their service.

I have attended my first session, where can I see my remaining sessions?

On your account page, you can view your ongoing experiences and remaining sessions. If you select VIEW, you will also see the specific dates that you have attended.
